When An Angel Flies Away Nothing hurts as much, As when an angel flies away, An angel came into our lives, We assumed it was to stay, A little drop from heaven, Fell into our life, One day it just dropped upon, A husband and a wife Such a bright little light, It was a kiss from above, This tiny little person, Who knew no hate, only love, They visit for a while, But they never get to stay, They teach us how to love, And then must go away, But so many of us need help, That an angel’s work is never done, They teach us what they can, And then they must move on, Remember what the angel taught, Don’t stay bitter, don’t stay sad, To know an angel for only a moment, Should leave us eternally glad. c. 2006 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Brothers 04:49
Brothers My brother's blood flows through my veins, As does mine through his, We think thoughts with the very same brain, We share the same "What is", He knows what thoughts run through my mind, He knows what I'll do next, I know the clothes that are in his closet, For work, for Sunday best, Brothers, most special people, Right down to the DNA they’re equal, When he gets hurt it hurts me too, Nervous systems somehow connected, Even our intuitive hunches, Are from the same place directed, You can talk to a person's Father, And also to their Mother, But to know a person inside out, Spend time with their Brother. He’s my brother, Knows me better than any other. Copyright 2006 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Dead Babies 04:08
DEAD BABIES He was once a baby, cradled in his mother's arms, She gave life to him, and protected him from harm, She was once a child, with penny candies in her hand, Now their bodies lie together, on the blood soaked desert sand, Their mothers are now childless, happiness no more, Mothers of dead babies, killed by the greed of war, War is just about real estate, nothing more, nothing less, Anyone who tries to tell you different, knows not what he says, There is never any good reason, not one single one, For human beings to act this way, or to kill a mother's young, If you ever question how you feel, or why I wrote this song, Look into the mother's eyes, and you'll know that war is wrong, Their mothers are now childless, happiness no more, Mothers of dead babies, killed by the greed of war, War is just about real estate, nothing more, nothing less, Anyone who tries to tell you different, knows not what he says, He was once a baby, cradled in his mother's arms, She gave life to him, and protected him from harm, She was once a child, with penny candies in her hand, Now their bodies lie together, on the blood soaked desert sand copyright 2003 - Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Hello Mister Sunset Hello mister sunset, good to see you again, Hello mister sunset, how have you been? We've been good friends, as long as I can recall, Together 'til the end, or 'til the first of us falls, Hello mister sunset, you always treated me right, That's why I come to see ya, most every night, It's good to have someone, upon whom you can rely, Through thick and thin, always honest, never lie, I think we got together, 'bout the time I was five, Now we're both a lot older, glad we're both still alive, Whenever I had a bad day, or when my day was good, Every evening you gave me, the best that you could, I'm sure gonna miss you, when I am gone, Hope you'll miss me too, I suppose you'll get along, I know people don't thank you, as much as they should, They take you for granted, you sure are good, Hello mister sunset, good to see you again, Hello mister sunset, how have you been? We've been good friends, as long as I can recall, Together 'til the end, or 'til the first of us falls. c. 2004 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

I Killed Jesus Christ I killed Jesus Christ, That’s what I was told, When I was in the first grade, And only six years old, I tried to say that I didn’t do it, But I was told to shut my trap, They say he died because of my sins, I killed him and that was that, What’s a young boy to do? How’s the rest of his life supposed to be? Only six years old and guilty, Of murder in the first degree, I told Jesus and Mary I was sorry, But I really didn’t remember the crime They just smiled down upon me and said, The real criminals will pay in due time. I killed Jesus Christ, That’s what I was told, When I was in the first grade, And only six years old, copyright 2005 -Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Last Man Standing Never rated much with women, Any place I’ve ever been, Seems I never could compete, With all the other men, Seems I’ve heard “I don’t think so”, Again and again and again, But now I’m the last man standing, So I guess that means I win, I’m the last man standing, Baby I’ll be good to you, I’m the last man standing, Tell me your love is true, I’m the last man standing, Please don’t leave me blue, I’m the last man standing, And you’re the last woman too, Never rated much with women, Any place I’ve ever been, Seems I never could compete, With all the other men, Seems I’ve heard “I don’t think so”, Again and again and again, But now I’m the last man standing, So I guess that means I win, I’m the last man standing, Baby I’ll be good to you, I’m the last man standing, Tell me your love is true, I’m the last man standing, Please don’t leave me blue, I’m the last man standing, And you’re the last woman too, I’m the last man standing, And you’re the last woman too, I’m the last man standing, And you’re the last woman too. copyright 2006 - Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Lounge Guy 06:45
Lounge Guy He’s got a gold chain with a shark’s tooth hanging around his neck He reeks of cheap cologne and leather but what did you expect? He’s got a head full of one-liners to drive the ladies wild A rehearsed smile and mannerisms purvey him oh so mild He’s a lounge guy A lounge guy (super, totally unreal) He knows all the right moves to zero in on unsuspecting prey, “Accidentally on purpose” is his strategic way He drops hints of money while he’s faking casual talk He’s so low key almost no key check that casual walk He’s a lounge guy A lounge guy (so super, and leisurely) You know as closing time approaches he will lay his trap Baiting all those gorgeous babes with sophisticated rap He prays “Dear God don’t let me leave alone again tonight!” It’s too bad that he’s the only one who can stand his sight He’s a lounge guy A lounge guy (so super, and liesurely, totally unreal, awesome) copyright 1986 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Ray, A True Blue Rocker He plays guitars made by Fender, He drives cars made by Ford, He don't live beyond his means, Sticks to what he can afford, He don't like things too fancy, Likes 'em lean and mean and real, He plays just like Chuck Berry, Yes he is the real deal, That's Ray, A true blue rocker He keeps pounding out the blues rock, Been playing since he was fourteen, Been playing since before the Beatles, A Fender Strat and his old blue jeans, He played all through the British Invasion, All through the Disco scene, He left both of them in the dust, He just kept playin' lean and mean, That's Ray, A true blue rocker Now the next time you think about Rock 'n Roll, The next time you think about blues, And you think about the roots of music, and why that same sound keeps coming through, Thank the man sittin' in the corner, sippin' on a long neck beer, He preserved our music over the years, And he's the reason that it's still here, That's Ray, A true blue rocker That's Ray, A true blue rocker That's Ray, A true blue rocker copyright 2006 - Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

An Unusually Warm Christmas It’s Christmas in Columbus Ohio, Canadian geese are all through the Midwest, It’s so warm here that they think they’re in Florida, Our planet’s in a terrible mess, I used to ice fish with my buddies, But the water will no longer freeze, There’s so much new weird stuff in it, From human feces all the way to canned peas, And the water level seems a little lower, Seems that way every spring, And it’s a little crusty around the edges, Kinda like a bathtub ring, I thought that I’d visit the North Pole, To register my complaint, But when I got there it was missing, It melted in last winter’s rain, I’m sorry to write such a bummer song, So filled with mirth, Santa’s got a lot of goodies in his bag, But he does not have a spare planet earth Cha ching ching ching, Cha ching ching ching, Fossil fuels all the way. copyright 2005 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved

Yes Song 03:09
The Yes Song If the first word every child learned to speak was yes instead of no, How much could this change us? How far could we go? Instead of teaching them “no”, to protect them from pain, We could teach them to say yes to joy, again and again, If there were no such word as “no”, If there were only yes, All of the fights would disappear, that make our world such a mess, Young folks sharing with old folks, children sharing their toys, Sharing candy and blankets, the girls sharing with the boys, As all these “yes” children grew older, the boys sharing with the girls, They’d be so adept at sharing, they’d probably share the world, Everyone could have anything they wanted, Go anywhere they want to go, You see it would have to be this way, There’d be no such word as “no”, Yes you can share my meatloaf, Yes you can share my peas, Yes you can share my comfort, Yes you can share my ease, Yes you can share my space, Yes you can share my health, Yes you can share my country, Yes you can share my wealth, Yes all over the planet, Yes from Pluto to the Sun, Yes I agree we were stupid, Yes let’s put down our guns, Yes this is the way to go, Yes a word so true, Yes you know I love you, Yes I love you too Copyright 2006 – Roger Lehman All Rights Reserved
